"This was our second visit and was just as relaxing as our first time there. The house is very well appointed. The views of Lake Superior are spectacular and being able to hear the water on the shore all night long makes for excellent sleeping. We've visited Duluth many times and Pumphouse has become our favorite place to stay. We look forward to our next visit."

"Such a quiet spot. Far enough away from everyone but close enough to get something from town if you need. Only real complaint is that the bed is very very firm. "My husband and I along with our 2 young adult daughters spent Memorial Day weekend at the Polished Pebble Cottage. As other reviews have mentioned, the photos are true to the physical attributes of the rental. All of the bedrooms are on the second level. There was a very, very sufficient number of towels provided in each of the bedrooms for individuals to use.
