Lesley was so welcoming. There was a lot of snow and she offered to help if we were stuck somewhere. Our room was spotless and so comfortable.
Overall the property is lovely. A bunch of cabins directly on the lake. There is a swimming beach and dock with paddle boards, kayaks and other water toys. The cabin was clean, the bed's comfortable and the staff was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Leslie was amazing! I was having trouble getting the grill to heat up properly. She came and said to bring out food into her house, and she cooked the meat and our corn for us. We were very thankful!!!
Wonderful stay, wonderful staff. Quiet and our favorite vacation we have had together yet. Great for a laid back weekend getaway. Gorgeous views. Will definitely be back.
I booked this place for a crew that was working in nearby Barnum. Excellent service and a beautiful resort. Will be booking soon for a weekend with my family.
This was a wonderful stay for use. Our room had 2 huge windows overlooking the lake. It was so relaxing to be there & the staff couldn't have been nicer. I would recommend to anyone needing peace, quiet & relaxation.
My husband and I stayed in the Lodge. If you are looking for a place to stay overnight in the Moose Lake area, I highly recommend a lakeside room with its huge windows overlooking Hanging Horn Lake. The hospitality is top-notch and everything is clean and well-maintained.
Very friendly greeting. Free amenities (Kayaks, Paddle boats, etc). Bring your own food because it doesn't offer a complimentary meal service but we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway. We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin w/King bed. It was spacious for my wife and I. If you're bringing kids it might feel a little cramped. It was a couple steps up from camping. We enjoyed how secluded and quiet it was! If you're not interested in having everything be brand new and more focused on the experience of getting away and experiencing nature then I would recommend Hanging Horn.
Sadly I had to cut my two-night stay short due to impending bad weather and icy roads. The location is a bit remote, but the facility is comfortable and scenic. My room was charming and the continental breakfast very nice. I will definitely return in the summer.
We were welcomed in the parking lot by the hostess at the resort and brought to our cabin. The place was fantastic! It was great to have a full kitchen and be able to fix our own food. My wife was impressed by the cleanliness of our accommodations, which are VERY important to her. We want to come back next summer when we have relatives come for a visit from Alabama.
This was such a quaint and homey spot on beautiful lake with paddle boats and kayaks. I was welcomed by staff in the parking lot and escorted happily to my room. View from the room was amazing. I watched loons fish in the lake and heard their calls several times. A bit off the beaten path but that’s part of its charm! Highly recommend!
Very nice location and very friendly/helpful staff. Peaceful and quiet.
The only negative was room 14 had very sketchy wifi. Verizon worked well there so was able to stream etc thru phone.
This is a quaint, out-of-the-way resort, which is not so quaint and not so out-of-way. A beautiful setting on a quiet lake. The staff made sure we were taken care of and our family enjoyed some time on the lake in peace & quiet.
We found this gem online. We left from the cities to go to the north shore but found this stopping point between a busy wedding weekend to busy hiking.
It was quiet and serene. Took a morning kayak ride on the still lake in the morning while watching the loons. Just what we needed!
