「Cute place right off the boardwalk and close to the ocean. The community hot tub was a little weird. We weren't sure how to use it and felt awkward so we didn't use it. I couldn't find additional bed linens for the futon so we used a duvet cover. Other then that it was a great place to stay. 」

「The house was super nice and affordable compared to the others that were that close to the beach. The host was also super fast at responding and helped with any problems. He even went above and beyond and mailed me something that I had forgotten and covered the shipping costs. Overall a great stay!」

「We love a simple no-nonsense place and this was perfect for us. The host is very responsive and was constantly checking in with us on what else we need to be comfortable to stay here. The area is close a lot of nice restaurants so that was a plus. We would love to stay here next time we visit San Diego.」

「Very quick response to every message. That right there made me feel relaxed about booking. The Studio was very clean, nice, comfortable. The big shower was great. It was close enough to downtown. And North Park has very cool places. I would highly recommend staying here.」

「Some colleagues and I were booked at a hotel for a nearby conference, but realized that we could have a much better and more cost effective experience renting a VRBO. This is a great location and close to great restaurants, shops and the conference center. Excellent!」

「We enjoyed our weekend stay here. The jets overhead were a big highlight for the two day visit. We were here for the marathon and walked about 20 min to the start near Balboa Park. Easy and short Uber ride to/from airport. One of the few times we didn’t rent a car. Little Italy was about a 10-15 wall and we did this both in the morning and after dark and it was a nice walk. Plenty of restaurants and takeout. Nice shower! Very clean accommodations. 」

「Overall, a very nice stay at Wave Crest. It’s an older property that’s not a traditional hotel as there is no bar/restaurant or lobby area. The room was a decent size with a nice view of the ocean. There was a Murphy queen size bed which is a little odd. Plus there is no air conditioning. The weather was fine for the dates we stayed, but I could see it getting very warm during summer months. They have their own parking lot and the parking is free. Location is very good as it’s a stone throw away...
