Ok, but extra for Americans

Extremely clean and friendly. Breakfast was good. Only issue was the card I booked the room with on hotels.com they couldn't use it because it was my american bank card. I never use credit i pay for everything in cash...thus the bank card. Due to this I was charged an additional $20 than what I was quoted on hotels.com.

Beautiful property in a great location! The owners were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.

Pretty area, loud barking dogs in the B and B

The house is very nice and rooms well appointed. Location is great and easy to walk to town or drive to wineries. The main issue we had is that there are two huge dogs that bark aggressively every time anyone enter the house and during breakfast or when you are relaxing in your room. The breakfast was okay, not what you might expect for a nice bed and breakfast. Owners informed us cleaning of rooms is only between 11 and 12 as they have other places to be, which seemed a bit rude of a statement. Didn’t seem to be the case either as they were right there in the home with the barking dogs most of the time. I would elect to stay elsewhere next time.

A lovely sanctuary in Niagara-on-the-Lake

The lovely house sits on beautifully landscaped grounds, within walking distance of the lake. The room was excellent, the hosts warm and helpful. They just bought two huge (1/2 full poodle, 1/2 sheepdog) gorgeous puppies that are an attraction in themselves. Immaculate. Beautiful breakfast by host, but I'm vegan so I couldn't eat all of it, but it was okay with me, I don't like big breakfasts, anyway. Fresh and I mean fresh, fruit cup divine, plus good coffee excellent. Chance to meet travelers from all over at breakfast. Good experience, all around.

We stayed 4 nights in early May’18. Ken and Jo are great hosts- knowledgeable in all things local and more! The B&B is beautiful and well maintained with great attention to detail. Well situated within walking distance to downtown yet removed from the sometimes chaotic activity of theatre and restaurants. Breakfast was spectacular and enjoyable each morning. We will be back

Beautiful, welcoming stay

This property is very pretty inside and out. The owners are delightful, welcoming and breakfast was great. It's a small B&B with 3 nice sized rooms that are nicely decorated rooms and have private bathrooms. While the house is designed to look of older vintage, its actually a newer built home without those old house quirks. Would definitely return.

At Home Elegance

We have stayed at Highbrook multiple times now and it is always fantastic. Any time we go to NOTL this is where we will stay. Many moons ago this was our first bed and breakfast experience. It has turned us on the the experience overall and we love it here. Within walking distance to everything, parking and wonderful breakfast.

Excelente atendimento. Um tipo de hospedagem personalizada e muito atenciosa. Uma casa com excelentes anfitriões. O café da manhã era muito bom e a conversa sempre muito agradável com os proprietários.

Highbrook B&B Experience Exceptional

Our recent stayed in Highbook Bed and Breakfast and found it to be one of the best experiences we’ve ever had in a B&B. Our hosts, Joanne and Ken, were very gracious, accommodating and friendly which made out stay exceptionally pleasant. The house is absolutely beautiful replete with exquisite décor, resplendent with lovely paintings and artworks. We stayed in the Belgravia room which was equipped with a king sized bed, pillowtop mattress and spacious ensuite. The room was immaculately maintained and was very comfortable. Equally as enjoyable was the privacy we experiences just sitting in their enclosed patio equipped with lounges chairs, a hot tub and simply enjoying the peace and quiet sitting outside and reading. Breakfast was outstanding and just to our liking. We would highly recommend this B&B as we found it to be outstanding. Although we had no problem with it, the only caveat we would mention is the fact that the sleeping arrangements are all on the second floor and you must climb a flight of stairs to reach it. But if you have no problem with a short flight of stairs, and we did not, then this place is ideal. We would go back in a heartbeat, and plan to in the future.

B&B walking distance from Shaw Festival theatres

A beautiful house in a convenient location. I had the Chelsea room, which is a very comfortable size. Decor is clean and bright. The breakfasts were delicious and it's very considerate of them to provide snacks like muffins throughout the day. If you're headed to the Shaw Festival, you can easily walk to the main theatres from here.

Great place to Stay.

This was our first time to a bed and breakfast. The place is great and Ken and Jo were great hosts. The breakfast Ken made was amazing and so was the coffee. Anyone that is going to Niagara on the Lake forget the hotel and give this place a try....you won't regret it. Ken and Jo we will be back next year. Thx
