「Didn’t even get to stay, said we were unable to use a digital ID to check in and then said we could file for a refund on the site. When contacted by Expedia they said we showed them someone else’s ID which we did not and that we were still able to check in with a digital ID even though we were denied the first time, this resolution came like two hours later so we were already somewhere else and they said it was impossible to get a refund so wasted almost $200.」

「Good heat and water pressure, nice sized room. Booked a smoking room with microwave and refrigerator, did not get any of that. Somewhat questionable environment to be smoking alone at night outside.」

「Definitely clean accommodation. Convenient parking and exit. Halloween decorations were very nice. It took me a day to figure our room temperature. I understand importance of cooler temps but I'm older so I like my room warmer. I ended up buying a throw blanket at nearby Target to make the temperature comfortable.」

「Excellent breakfast and we found the pool open.」

「Room was larger than expected. Parking was plentiful. Breakfast as expected.」

「Our family has been using American Inn in Branford, CT as a rest stop to visit my wife's mother in New Hampshire. It is a short trip (under 2 hours) to get a head start out of the New York metro area after evening rush hour. All rooms are accessed from the outside right in front of your parking space. They have two queen beds and rooms are always clean... and the price is right 😉 It is perfect for our trip!」
