「Nice setting」

「My room was small with a big bathroom. In was just what I needed for a short one night stay. Super clean, staff was friendly.」

「The hotel decor was perfect for the historical aesthetic and the room, itself, was comfortable. However, it was at the back of the hotel right next to the outside generator which hummed all night long. The morning coffee was weak and cold and the scones and fritatta were inedible. They consider the "free" breakfast as an amenity but you pay for it as part of the "resort fee". Aside from that, the service was very good and the food in the restaurant was quite good, as well.」

「I recently stayed here for several nights and overall had a positive experience. Things didn't start out that way, as the first room I was assigned was really grim. There was an awful smell coming from the carpet (similar to wet dog) and permeated the entire space and bathroom. In addition, the toilet was running and didn't have a functioning flush. I was really hesitant to approach the front desk and complain, as am usually not a picky or confrontational person. However, I had nothing to lose...

「It’s right in the center of Broad Street with a really nice cafe downstairs that’s open at 7:00am every day and has fantastic homemade bacon breakfast burritos. The room is clean and beautiful. I had some difficulty at first getting into the building and into my room with the respective codes. The trick is to wait until the door entirely stops buzzing and only then push it open.
