"Our stay at the Last Resort was wonderful! The rooms were clean and beautiful. The shower was amazing! The place was easy to get to. You can see the ships, Freightliners and other boats out of your room window. The best part is our dog got to go with us! If your looking for a wonderful place to stay try The Last Resort!"

"This property is lovely and so cozy. Hosts responded quickly and were helpful and kind. We enjoyed fishing from the paddle boat on the quiet lake. No shower soap/ shampoo/ conditioner were provided so bring your own. Would highly recommended for a quiet get away."

"We enjoyed our stay VERY much!! What a quaint hotel with a lot of history. Conveniently located downtown next to the locks and viewing area. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, spacious, and clean!! I LOVE the fact that our room on the 6th (top) floor only had 10 rooms as did the 5th floor. Very quiet!! The hotel staff was very friendly especially the front desk clerk at check in on July 3 and the bartender on the 4th of July! Someone was always cleaning….floors, windows, etc. We noticed and probably due to high volume of visitors for the 4th of July: no air conditioning in the lobby or bar and the breakfast items were sparse each morning. Another observation….we thought it strange to have a label (posted on the 6th floor) stating one must hold button to call the elevator."

"The house was great for what we a needed, a relaxing getaway with the family. The large dining table made it perfect for family dinners. The access to the river was so much fun for everyone and being able to use the boat was a big plus for outings throughout the day. It was one of the hottest weeks of the year so far so it was a little hot. The window unit was in a bedroom so it wasn’t able to help cool the rest of the house but we bought three fans and placed them in front of windows and it was enough to keep the place nice and cool. Tequamenon falls was only a hour away and that was an amazing experience. We all had a really great time and I think having a nice place to lay our heads was a big perk. Thanks for hosting us!"
