「The Hotelis set in its own grounds just off a modrately busy road. We were welcomed when we entered the hotel and check in was very easy. We were shown to our room which was light and airy with very high celings. The Bathroom had a beautiful roll-top bath and a large shwer with a 'waterfall' head. (Great control and none of this water going from hot to cold you sometimes get) We didn't eat here as we were meeting friends in Derby so can't comment about the food but we did have breakfast here...

「Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return 」

「There was little or no noise from the pub. The only noise near my room was other guests arriving and departing. Parking was no problem. Staff were very pleasant and, due to them, I was able to get my head down in good time as I had been up all the previous night. This was followed by a very sound night's sleep. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for me (cereal and toast). The evening meal I had booked was again perfectly satisfactory. For my one night's stay, the experience was fine. 」

「Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. 「Our host was very welcoming. Showed us our room, which was perfect for our needs. Room 1 was chosen for us as it opened onto a garden /woodland area which our two terriers loved. We had a lovely one night stay, had a drink at Whitemoor pub, dinner was 'eating in' at the Aspey Fishbar opposite Tudor Lodge. Lodge was clean, warm, nicely furnished and a good size. Host was welcoming and friendly. Haven't had breakfast yet, but dont doubt itll be hot, tssty and plentiful. 」

「We used The Family Tree hotel/b&b as a stop over on the way to Bath. The place was superb… very clean, good facilities in the room, with a hearty and delicious breakfast. "非常に暑い日にも関わらず、エアコンが故障していた。冷えるのに時間がかかると言われ数時間待ったが、全くかわりなしで、体調がわるくなり倒れそうになった。急いで荷物をまとめて部屋を出て部屋を交換してくれるよいに頼むと、渋々交換してくれたが、予約した部屋より狭い部屋しか空いてないと言われたが、熱中症になるよりはましなので、その部屋に移動した。部屋の差額は返金されなかった。後で口コミを見たら何ヶ月前の口コミにも同様にエアコンが故障していたというものがあった。あの暑さで空いている部屋がなかったら熱中症で倒れていただろう。客の最低限の安全も確保できないホテルだと思った。有名ホテルで系列には何度も滞在したことがあるがこんなことは初めてだった。非常に失望した。"
