It's a little off the main street, so it's quiet and peaceful, but cross the main road, and you'll be right in the heart of the action in Takayama with restaurants, bars, and shops. Parking is quick and easily accessible as well. The hotel is well-appointed and clean, the staff are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, and they provided great tips. "The hotel is a short walk from the train station, very convenient. When I arrived, I was impressed by the beauty of the lobby. The staff was very friendly & attentive. The room was on the 28th floor, with an excellent view of the city. It was very spacious, with great facilities. I had dinner at the Garden House & the buffet was amazing.
