Cheaters and liars
I arrived at the hotel at 10 pm to check in only to be told that they did not have a room for me since some other guests had stayed on. I was offered accommodation at a different hotel. Since I didn't know anything about the other place, I tried to get a room at some of the better hotels near by, but they were all full. Therefore I had no choice but to accept their offer, and I was sent to a different neighborhood to stay at a MUCH lower-end hotel. Complete bait-and-switch.
The worst part is that Hotels.com won't refund me unless the hotel agrees to do so. The hotel management, has, to date, refused. This hotel is run by cheats and frankly, why bother with hotels.com, it's not like they offer any kind of insurance if things go wrong.
