「Pool freezing & hike up a driveway. Grassy area was dead (picnic table under shady trees could’ve been great idea). Huge gap under door in room (bugs!). Very noisy on room closest to road (but ADA parking spot in front). No side table on 1 side of bed. Terrible lighting (lack of). Furniture placement not efficient. Bathroom very hot (even when room is cool). Not real sure about the choice in window coverings (?). TV and/or remote difficult to figure out. + Bed comfy + Decent $ + Gave...

The villa was perched in the middle of a vineyard, across a bridge in the rolling hills of Plymouth. 「While the property was clean, when we arrived and checked into the room, our room was so hot, you’d think, since they knew they were having people stay in this room, they’d turn on the air, but no. We had to turn on the air and leave for awhile. Thankfully, it cooled, but not a great start. And if your a person, like myself and my family, we don’t like to wake up to a bright room- the curtains were so thin, the room was so bright, we couldn’t sleep. So, definitely will not be returning.」

「The Rest Hotel in downtown Plymouth is a gem of a find! Quaint, cute, perfect location, perfect amenities, and the rooms were much better than "normal" hotels. However, the best part of our visit was the staff. They are caring, responsive, polite, and fun! My wife will only stay at the Rest Hotel when we return to Amador County Wine Country!」

She is a great ambassador for all things local! We felt very comfortable as the staff members were kind. courteous and personable. The property was clean and well maintained. 「A lot of the furniture was damaged or straight up broken. The shower head was leaking from the actual shower head (not the connection). The beds were horrendous - uncomfortable and felt unstable. There was hair all over the bathroom. The breakfast was okay, but almost zero gluten free options.」

「An hour after checking in and going to my room, I was advised that there was an additional $96 fee because my room had been changed from a king to two double beds. The king was unavailable. Felt like a down grade because it was on the first floor and could every step of the people above. Thanks to Expedia for fixing it and not making me pay the surprise charge.」
