「We loved this property. It was right off the interstate, We were concerned about the Flying J travel center truck stop next to it but we didn't hear a single semi. It had a nice area out back behind the motel to sit by the pool and relax, lots of parking even for larger vehicles, small area for breakfast where you waited in line to get your food and only a small amount of tables. I'm talking maybe 6 tables. Didn't bother us because we only got coffee. The staff was really friendly and helpful....

Likes; very convenient to “Mayberry” touristy locations, lol, hot breakfast was good, staff are very responsive ( had a moth fly in, couldn’t reach it, they sent a staff member, catch and release, lol).
Dislikes; not a total biggie deal breaker. Retired now, but worked construction back in the day, so I get it, lol. There were construction crews staying all over. I had neighbors 2 doors down. They were party hard guys after work. Bluetooth speaker music. pounded 4...
「Such a wonderful, relaxing, and beautiful location. We drove up from Florida for a wedding near Pilot Mountain, and we're so glad we chose "A Mighty Oak" for our stay. Todd kindly offered to take us for a mini tour of the farm to see the cows, chickens and pigs. Our daughter fell in love with "Heart" (the special cow with a unique marking on her face; you'll just have to visit them to see where her name comes from). Our morning walks were fun and refreshing, as we enjoyed the slightly cooler...
「It was clean. The person at the front deskwas not the friendliest. The other employees we came in contact with were very nice. It was confusing because the sign said Econo Lodge, and then when we register Knights Inn but on my card statement, it said Eco Lodge. It had a phone but was not connected to anything and no buttons. It was OK. It’s just old and needs some work. 」
