What you should bring is only food and drinks. It is located right next to the beautiful shrine which is Unesco world heritage, and having amazing view of Mt.Fuji from the terrace. We stayed with 2 toddlers and 4 adults but space was more than enough, all of us was really happy to stay in this beautiful property...

For US Residents who aren't used to sleeping on the floor on just a futon mat or 2, you may be a bit stiff waking up.
