"Prior to my arrival, all communication with the hosts was fast and friendly. The hosts both met me at the gate and gave me a warm welcome. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, and filled with homey touches that put this weary traveler at ease. Orvieto is a gorgeous place and did not have the oppressive crowds of fellow tourists that I encountered in the cities, even in November. My mistake was not to plan to stay there longer. "Very clean and convenient, nice that it was past the main part of town opposite side of city from vernacular which made it quiet but close. ( there is a nearby shuttle, or a 15 minute walk with bags…). The hotel gives you a feel that you are staying in a room of a castle. "
