"It is hard to put into words how great this family vacation was. The Villa Eleonora is better than the description used here on VRBO. We had 11 people, my wife and I and three children and their spouses, along with 4 grand children. The location was ideal in itself with beautiful open country in the foothills of Umbria. Day trips by train to Florence, Rome, and overnight to Venice were easily accessed from the train station in Peruvian, less than 30 minutes from the Villa.The Villa owner...

"Our large group of family and friends loved our stay. Even with spotty weather (Spring rains) we were either cozy or basking in the sun by the pool. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, thoughtful host….we loved this spot. Todi was wonderful too - very few tourists and lots of places to eat. This is our 4th villa stay and this is now one of our very favorites!"

"We had five wonderful days in beautiful Toscana! Great atmosphere, wonderful location of the hotel and very reasonably priced. Eating at their restaurant was quite pricy however. Breakfast ok but excellent croissants and coffee! One of the reasons we picked this hotel was the laundry service which was advertised on hotels.com. No laundry service was available. "

"From the moment of our arrival to when we left the Villa, Miriam was so friendly, helpful and informative about the many amazing places near us. We had the perfect mix of busy days exploring Orvieto, Cetona, Montipulciano, Lago Trasimeno etc. etc. and some lazy days by the pool. The check in process was definitely a disappointing experience to me and I lost 1 night since I tried to communicate in every way possible with the hotel with ZERO success. I tried the number Expedia shared, I tried the number THEY share, Whatsapp, email… I asked if I could arrive at 9-10pm since they say check in ends at 5pm, at 8pm… I had some car rental hiccups and could get earlier. We also had her prepare a meal for us and our extended family 20 people and it was our favorite meal of our trip ! Everything was so fresh and so wonderful ! "Easily found hotel on the main road, therefore there is some traffic noise if you have a room at the front. Room was good, with a comfortable bed, and very clean. The lady and gentleman who checked us in/out were very friendly. The walk into town from the hotel is doable and fairly level, where you can then take the funicular up to the old town (just beware it closes early - 7.30pm when we visited in October). "

"Our mini apartment was so cute! Everything was perfect, the balcony behind the bathroom was perfect and the walking distance to the historic center is amazing. Also the owners offering a breakfast for 5 euro ( coffee, cappuccino, hot tea. Yogurt, fruit, fresh orange juice, crostata and biscotti home made very yummy! All of these buffet style. "
