The location is stunning, the building/room are well renovated, and the service was impeccable. They catered to gluten-free for breakfast, and the caprese salad we had one evening was delicious. We appreciated the use of local produce. Thank you for our stay, we wished it was longer!

Paradise in Pienza

How can you thank God enough for creating such a paradise on Earth that is this Relais. Under the magic wand of owner/manager Laura, Relais Val d'Orcia sits atop a hill with Pienza rolling out before you. The coziness, cleanliness and convenience are perfect and the welcoming staff and pets are the icing on the cake. You will need a car because Paradise should never be easy to reach but, oh is it worth it!

I can’t recommend this property enough. Laura went above and beyond from the time I made the reservation. I asked her for a lot of help with reservations and just general information. She was responsive and gave great recommendations. The property was as described, there was much attention to detail and breakfast was wonderful. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful property in Val d’Orcia

Relais Val d’Orcia was a lovely place in beautiful Val d’Orcia .Everything was perfect from services to accommodation. It only opens few years ago and it’s just beautiful. Very comfortable bed, big room, spotlessly clean bathroom and an indoor parking. You get a great view of the Tuscan valley from every window in your room. It is very close to towns like Pienza and Montepulciano, only 20 minutes drive. It is a place to stay if you’re in Tuscany .

The property is on top of the hill. The view around you of the Tuscan valley and surrounding mountains: astounding! The owner Laura is very hands on in taking care of her guest. She took her time to even orient us even in how things work in our room. This property is a must, but you need to have a car to get there. They have a parking garage included in the price. Garage even has a gate. You cannot get into the property without going through a gate. Very safe.

Relais Val D’Orcia will not disappoint. We came for the classic Tuscan villa experience and we got that and so much more. My husband and I were traveling through Italy, and we chose this spot for an overnight stay. The location is perfect - right in the middle of an unreal landscape, and a convenient distance from beautiful medieval towns with lovely restaurants and shops. The hotel’s interior has been completely modernized with amazing technology and comfort, without compromising its rustic charm. But most of all, Signora Laura’s hospitality is what sets this place apart from others we have stayed all over the world. She struck the perfect balance between making us feel like we were staying with family and giving us the space to enjoy a romantic getaway. It was absolutely worth the investment. One night was not enough. We will be back!

Wat een fantastische plek is Relais Val d’Orcia! Het huisje waarin we verbleven stond als enige op een heuvel, bereikbaar via een afgesloten hek. Dat gaf meteen een gevoel van rust en veiligheid, zonder dat het afgezonderd of afgesloten aanvoelde – je bent immers midden in het prachtige Val d’Orcia. Zodra je het terrein oprijdt, voelt het alsof je een klein paradijs betreedt. Het uitzicht rondom is werkelijk adembenemend – je kijkt je ogen uit. Overal heerst een serene sfeer: er is ultieme rust, een prachtig zwembad, en er lopen drie lieve katten en een hond rond die af en toe gezellig komen buurten. Onze kamer was ruim, schoon en stijlvol ingericht. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, met lokale producten en een fantastisch uitzicht terwijl je eet. Ook praktisch is goed nagedacht: er is een ruime parkeergarage direct onder het gebouw, wat heel prettig was tijdens warme dagen. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en oprecht behulpzaam – je voelt je er echt welkom. Alles klopte gewoon. Dit was precies wat ik voor ogen had bij een vakantie in Toscane: rust, schoonheid en comfort. Een absolute aanrader. We komen hier met alle liefde nog eens terug.

Location meravigliosa, nel mezzo delle colline della val d'orcia. Il relais è un "tempio del relax" con stanze luminose, ben pulite con vari comfort. Tutto lo staff cordiale e sempre pronti ad esaudire ogni richiesta. Le colazioni veramente buone. Varie torte fatte in casa e a richiesta anche fatte per ogni tipo di intolleranza/ allergie.

Abbiamo trascorso 7 giorni in questa bellissima location, l'edificio è la famosa "Casa 21", il progetto presentato dall'Arch. Seddio all'Expo 2015 come esempio di bioarchitettura. E l'effetto è entusiasmante: all'interno si viene pervasi da un'energia positiva che genera armonia, di certo grazie a tutti gli accorgimenti che sono stati adottati, molti nemmeno visibili se non dopo essere stati illustrati. L'esterno è altrettanto attraente, con la vista a 360 gradi sulla Val d'Orcia da una posizione di privilegio. Il bio-lago a disposizione sia di giorno che di sera, il giardino tutt'intorno, il solarium e l'area relax sono stati ingredienti altrettanto importanti per il benessere di cui abbiamo goduto. La nostra suite, dedicata a Corsignano, è perfetta, di dimensioni generose e con doccia emozionale. Ottima anche la collocazione geografica, per poter visitare tutta la Val d'Orcia e spingersi anche nella Val di Chiana. Un luogo dove il tempo si dilata e l'orologio rimane nel cassetto. Ci proponiamo di farvi ritorno in autunno.

The property is located in a beautiful, private setting. There are lovely views of rolling green hills all around. The accommodations are updated and fresh. We stayed in a lovely large room with a large bathroom and great shower. Wonderful place.
