"Prison, solitary confinement. I booked a room with a shower toilet, but when I asked the hotel staff, they said they didn't have one and the shower and toilet were shared. The sheets were old and dirty, and the hotel was under renovation so it smelled like a construction site. The stairs were smelly and there were stains on the walls. I would be happy with half the price for this level. The room was completely different from what I booked, so I reported it to Expedia "

"On a adoré notre séjour à Anam Hôtel ! On y a passé 10 jours. On a pu se reposer. L’hôtel se situe à quelques mètres de la plage, où on peut y voir des magnifiques coucher de soleil le soir. Le personnel de l’hôtel est juste super super gentil. Il y a une cuisine que l’on peut utiliser, mais aussi une machine à laver dont on peut se servir. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne regretterez rien."

"Such a great hotel, such great food and the service was excellent! Pasan was great providing us with copious chai, non stop requests and was great all round, Eranda was excellent too. I wish I remembered everyone’s name, but would recommend the stay for their service alone - couldn’t do enough for us. Hotel rooms were clean, would recommend their half board option (some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka) and great shower facility too. "
