One of the best hotels that my family and I have stayed in. We have used a lot of different hotels throughout the world and Shangri La Colombo ranks one of the best we have stayed in. Even with all the difficulties SL is in now, the hotel staff saw to our comfort without any complaints. I salute the staff and management for their gracious hospitality. Thank you!

Magical hotel in the best area of Sri Lanka. Unlike other high end hotels, you really feel like part of the Cinnamon community here. I had wonderful days just staying in the hotel and getting work done in the magnificent lobby while drinking coffee and eating delicious pastries . The restaurants are all top notch and the service was amazing. Looking forward to another stay soon . It's like a hub for the Sri Lankan cultural elite. Friendly staff ... good location ... does not surprise me that this hotel has hosted kings and queens during the last 150 years. I got good service from Shayna at the restaurant there ... nice breakfast buffet.

Location attached to Colombo City Centre mall for a range of shopping options. Tuk Tuk and taxis easily accessible.

Absolutely incredible hotel. I wish I had stayed longer. I could stay here a week happily. My room was beautiful and peaceful. I felt like I was living in another time. Darshana was wonderfully helpful. 10/10 recommend.

Good Food, Clean Room, Close to City, Friendly Staff.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location is excellent. We found everything in the hotel perfect: clean, big size room, great service and amenities. Overall, a great place to stay, away from noise and there’s a french bakery a block away that has delicious coffee and croissants.

Made it easy to book an extra night and stay in the same room.

Staff treatment was exceptional. If somebody else is not paying, eat breakfast somewhere else. Prices here are beyond ridiculous!!!

One reason for which i decided to stop at this hotel was its location on the beach by the ocean, the rooms look and spacious green territory for relaxation with multiple pools. I don't regret a minute that I made this choice! It was absolutely worth it! The price reasonable for an excellent service quality! Very clean and extremely comfortable and homey rooms! Soft beds, sofa in the room and patio on top of everything! Every room is with view and patio! Isn't that amazing? And falling asleep...

after a week in Colombo i sought four hotels and stayed in two, all the cinnamon hotels do not compared to the room size,friendly staff and bathroom than the Ramada did. the stay in the Ramada was great, I wish I stayed there the whole week instead of the cinnamon lakeside.
