「We had a room with one bed which made it spacious. There isn't a fridge, microwave, coffee maker etc. Just a bed, TV (with satellite programming), a couple chairs, dresser, and end table. The bed was comfortable, The bathroom and sink worked fine and we had hot water. It was refreshing to be in a back to basics motel with a 70s kind of decor. The one thing that would make it more comfortable is to have blackout drapes. The light at the front door was annoying, but we were able to finally ignore...

「The house was clean, and there were nearby stores if you needed something urgently. However, the main issue was that the entire living room wall power outlets were short-circuited, preventing access to the TV and power outlets in that room and one of the bedrooms. The recliner couches were also unresponsive. I had to reach out to the owner and inform them that the situation was becoming too challenging for us to figure out whether the TV or power outlets were working. It took me about an hour or...

「We found Carter’s Cottage had everything we needed for our stay. It was only a few blocks from restaurants. We loved the large laundry room for removing our wet boots and clothes after spending the day stone hunting. Having two bathrooms was a bonus. 」
