It was an ideal spot for snowmobiling, centrally located and close to everything we wanted to explore. The house had more than enough space for all six of us and was fully equipped with everything we needed. I especially loved that it sits right on the lake with a dock—I’d absolutely love to come back in the summer and bring my boat.
Every year my family makes our annual trip to fish and make memories in the UP, this year we stayed at UP Living and without a doubt, you should too! Beautiful, clean, spacious, and the host was amazing and super speedy at answering any question I had. We most definitely recommend staying here on your next visit!
UP Living offered us a great place to get away with the family. It was well-stocked, clean, comfortable, and provided a relaxing space to enjoy the UP’s beauty.
We had a great stay! The house was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful! And the lake was so nice! We would definitely stay again.
Amazing view of Big Manistique Lake! It was nice to be able to park our boat in the barn during a rainy morning. Lovely place to enjoy the lake on a warm summer day. Water was shallow near dock, so that allowed our Granddaughter to enjoy herself!
Prefect home base location to hit popular UP attractions like Pictured Rock, Tahquamenon Falls State Park and Soo Locks. Comfort home to relax enjoy the view of the lake and a fire after day of exploring. Would stay again.
We loved the cabin. It was super clean. Great location too. We took day trips all over the UP and it was a good central location to come back to each evening. The wood stove inside was wonderful for curling up with a book and snuggling in a blanket.
This cabin on the lake is awesome. Had everything and more needed for our stay. Loved sitting on the deck looking towards the water. Quiet. Very clean. Beds were comfy. Weather was very nice for this time of the year. Plenty of parking. Centrally located. Our host, Beverly, was amazing.
Very nice and comfortable accommodations were used as overflow for family during the Thanksgiving holiday. Hence, we spent only a little time at the property, but it worked out perfectly.
Definitely want to go back! Perfect central location for our activities. That lake view?Wow! Beverly is a thoughtful hostess. Cozy & nicely decorated with nice extra touches inside and out - apple & pear trees on property (close enough to ripe when we were there!) deer were snacking on a few in the morning, sandbox, games, tvs with all the extras. Cant say enough. It was perfect for our adult family of 4.
My husband and I enjoyed four days at this lovely lakefront cabin. The property is well outfitted and comfortable for a couple or a larger family or group of friends. It is also well situated for heading out for day trips to explore many of the recreational and scenic locations in the region. Beginning each day with coffee on the porch and relaxing with cocktails while watching the sunset was extra special too.
This property was NO disappointment! We came to visit our daughter who recently moved to Germfask. I would recommend this property with no reservations. It was clean and designed to accommodate 2 small families comfortably. We were able to visit several popular areas in the UP from this location also.
Such a wonderful house and location. We enjoyed playing ping pong and using other games available. It was nice to have the spacious nicely furnished kitchen to use. This was our second time using this listing for a vacation. It was just as enjoyable as the first time.
We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The location was perfect for us. Beverly was very responsive whenever I had a question. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. The detached garage was very convenient for our ORV to be stored in when we were not riding. The views over the lake from the back porch were amazing. I have already shared the listing link with many friends and family who asked for it.
House was beautiful and well stocked. Large yard for kids to play. Accessible garage with ping-pong, foosball, large grill, and extra refrigerator. Plenty of dry (covered) wood for campfires. Spacious porch for outdoor dining complete with picnic table. Sandbox for littles, pool toys in the shed. The dock was easy to get down to and perfect for playing, swimming, and docking jet skis. Hardwood floors throughout made clean up a breeze. The only thing that would have made this space better would have been AC as it was in the 90's during our visit. Would highly recommend - we had a blast!
We came to Curtis for a celebration of my Dad’s life and stayed here with my family. We loved being right on the gorgeous Lake Manistique to swim, float and paddle board. The white birch cabin is so inviting and lovely. *Of note, 2 of the beautiful beds are quite high. I am 5’3” and had to jump up with a running start. The hosts are generous, flexible and helpful. Every night we sat by the fire under the stars and were even treated to the aurora borealis. Thank you for creating the perfect place for my family!
This was our—Grandma and Grandpa—first experience with using rentals and this set a high bar for future rentals. The cabin was adorable and so clean. We went with our son, his wife and granddaughters. It was my daughter-in-law who found the property. They are experienced rental users. We all enjoyed our stay. We used the lake, had bonfires a few evenings, saw hawks, blue jays, hummingbirds and deer. We traveled to many landmark attractions but came “home” to a comfortable bed and wonderful bathrooms, thanks to our host Beverly.
