When i booked this property it says there free wifi and breakfast.And when i check in i asked the personnel if there is a free breakfast and they said its not included and i told them why when i booked it says that there is a breakfast. And the building is also very confusing..

An Entemologist's Paradise

Good: Spacious Room. Bad: Just about everything .. hard beds, thin towels, one thin bed sheet, low water pressure and literally crawling with bed bugs and cockroaches - and they bite! Zen Rooms don't care, both this sad excuse for a boarding house, and Zen Rooms International should be demolished.

Spacious, with a good safe location in Manila. Eventhough the room seem to be clean, it was infested with cockroaches.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Spacious rooms, so big that there is plenty of room for the cockroaches and bed bugs. I complained to Zen Rooms but they are full of empty patronising words. The whole building needs demolishing and Zen Rooms with it.

The 10 Day Itch

I've stayed here a few times and remarked that as a low budget hotel it's potentially good; certainly spacious and convenient for central Manila. Unfortunately my last stay was marred by a very unfortunate incident. I had an uncomfortable night's sleep, bat didn't find out why until the afternoon of the following day - I had been severely bitten by Bed Bugs. There were the usual several cockroaches in the room but I tend to ignore them, however Bed Bugs are difficult pests to see and I wasn't aware of them at all. Dunno if any of you have ever had Bed Bug bites but they aren't nice - I'd rather be bitten by mosquitoes! It's been 10 days now since the attack and I still have bite marks and itchiness. Of course I complained to Zen and told them to warn the Hotel. They offered me compensation of 20% (about $3 US) big deal huh?! I won't be using Zen Rooms any more and I certainly won't be staying at that Hotel ... ever again.

+\- : 24 hr security, spacious, warm shower - good water, AC is really good. Only this is no breakfast in-house so either wait for mall to open at 10am or eat at 7-Eleven or Mini Stop for quick eats. Laundry is 3 buildings away, not in-house. Otherwise, good stay.
