Beautiful year round lake home! Sleeps 8 comfortably!

  • Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay year round. Right on the water at Lake Madison!  Plenty of room for guests.   Features include:  Nice kitchen with granite countertops, Comfortable living room overlooking the lake,  Lower level sleeping area/additional family room space.  Beautiful deck with conversation area overlooking the water.  Nice dock(seasonal) to fish or enjoy an evening sunset.  Only five minutes from Madison if you need to run to town for groceries or a necessity.  Less than a mile down the road from boat launch(Johnsons point).

Madison weekend

We went to the DSU homecoming festivities, and this was a great place to stay. Close to Madison, plenty of bedrooms, nice to cook some of our own food.

Family get away

The place was great! Very clean and plenty of room for 7 adults. The beds were very comfy and we had everything we needed along with the propane grill and host responded promptly to any questions. The firepit and beach areas weren't very big, but we enjoyed our stay!!!

Girls Trip

We stayed at the Lake House to attend the National Indoor Track Meet in Brookings and it was great. The house was beautiful and just the right size. I also Highly recommend stopping at The Point down the road and saying hi to Steve and Rose.

Thanksgiving stay

We stayed here for a few days because of the location to family. The house was great. The kids left the other house and came here to play board games. The king bed is in an open space in the basement but is soft and incredibly comfortable.

A wonderful time

We took our 5 grandsons to this home and we had a wonderful time. The house was very nice. It was very well stocked. Being on the water was a plus. All of them want to go again!

A Very Nice Place

This house has been totally updated and is very nice and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay, and the property is very close to town, which is handy for grocery runs. Nice little beach area for the kids to play in the sand, and a large public beach just across the lake as well. The owners were very responsive and helpful and we would definitely consider renting from them again. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay at this place.

Amazing location and Amazing Hosts

For those looking for a great weekend lake getaway or a family get together, this is your place. The hosts were so accommodating with us for our stay and the house has nearly everything you need to have a great time. Just bring your fishing rods, food, drink and family and you're all set. The house has nearly every kitchen appliance, dishes, pot and pans as well as lots of spices, oils, and some condiments. The house also has a single person kayak, corn hole, board games and multiple places to fish from. It's only a short drive from Madison so it was easy to go and grab any items we wanted and the size of the home easily accomodated our family of five, brother and parents.
