「Quim and Emma could not have been more friendly, welcoming and hospitable, from the off we felt comfortable and at home. The villa, which is in a quiet neighbourhood and has spectacular views of the sea and village, is beautiful, spacious and clean with everything one needs for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The games room and pool were particularly appreciated by the teenagers in our party! The local supermarket at Calheta marina is excellent, with lots of fresh meat, fish, fruit, veg,...

「We really enjoyed our stay at Vila Formosa. It is in a great location, close to many restaurants and shopping. A short bus ride to Old Town Funchal. The apartment is is well equipped and spacious. The beach is nearby and has a nice promenade to wander along. Our host ,Natasha, also arranged transportation for us from the airport to the apartment. We would definitely return.」

「Great space and outdoor area fantastic in apartment. Location was good as it was quieter than staying in city. There are regular buses to centre and bus stop only a couple of minutes from apartment. Check in was smooth and Host very kindly let us know we could leave our luggage if required when checking out, however we didn't need to do this. Great communication with host and answered my queries promptly.」
