"What makes this hotel the place to choose is hands-down, the amazing staff! Tony, who is the weekend manager, went above and beyond for us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and that were well informed regarding our stay. He had wonderful advice on a nearby city to visit and a delicious pizza recommendation! His graciousness, competence, and generous nature made this the place that we will choose over and over when we are looking near JFK airport! Thank you, Tony, from this Minnesota family! Whatever they’re paying Tony, he deserves a raise! The rest of the staff there were also very conscientious. The rooms were fine, nothing spectacular, but they were clean and the location is so close to JFK airport (with a shuttle service going there every hour). The prices are reasonable for the area, as well. This hotel is a good choice for a place to stay!"

"The mattresses had stains on them . The bathroom towels had seen better days and the TV did not work. Parking was good."

"The room was clean, with a decently comfortable bed and fresh linens. The place feels rather dated and the glassed-in counter in the lobby made me wonder about the safety of the neighborhood. For the short weekend stay, it was fine."

"This place is a pure dump. From the outside the property looks decent but its not until you go inside where it shows its true colours. The hotel manager does not seem to care but just interested in collecting your money and after that its pretty much up to you. The rooms were dingy, floors need to be mopped a lot of dirt on the walls. TV was functioning properly but the AC unit was loud a noisy. Toilet did not function properly, plenty of mold and mildew in the tub and shower. Glad I was only 2 nights but would find something better and cleaner even if I have to pay a little extra."

"It’s a big full service hotel and I thought good value. Large corner room with 2 windows and views. Large bathroom decorated brilliant white. Leather sofa in room. Coffee and pastries available early downstairs Saturday morning as alternative to room service or restaurant. Staff all helpful."
