Friendly and helpful staff and our room was clean and cosy.
Breakfast was okay, but would've like to have seen a selection of mini cakes/biscuits and fresh fruits to the selection, just to give more of a variety and also some fresh juice in addition to the cordial, tea and coffee on offer.
However an enjoyable and pleasant stay and would love to return. 」

「What a delightful little property. Rooms are lovely and recently refurbished, and beautifully clean. Well stocked tea, coffee & water with complimentary biscuits. The owner was in regular contact before our stay, sent details on how to access the property and was so helpful with tips on local places to eat etc. There was even a little tuck shop with an honesty box for chocolate and cans of drinks. Wonderful experience, wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend 」

Lovely family run pub with rooms. The family only recently took over the pub and are doing a fabulous job.
Super comfy bed (new mattress) and very clean room with en-suite.
Great atmosphere in the pub and the new chef has a great menu of excellent food, all locally sourced, generous portions and great value for money.
Breakfast was amazing too. All in all 5 star!」
「It was a shame that I didn’t arrive until the early hours of the morning. I didn’t get to sample the facilities that were available as I had to leave in the morning.
The staff were lovely and the standard of the hotel is excellent.

「front desk staff are not nice, not kind, the hotel has no car park, I asked front desk a map of the car park, but the girl immediately said no, I am a Japanese and do not know the area, staff should be kind and nice to customer, also when i checked out, other girl did not say thank you, even I told her thank you, this is very unusual in Japan. 」
