Overall, a good hotel with a brilliant location. The room was cosy, with a comfortable bed. We booked a room with sauna access included. Upon arrival, we were told that we had private access to the sauna and were given a fob for access. We weren't told that access was subject to availability or that other guests could also use the sauna if they paid extra. We assumed that we had full access to the sauna throughout our entire stay. However, on one of the days, when we asked the staff to prepare the sauna, we were told that other guests had requested access, so we weren't able to use it. We spoke to the manager and asked her to update the terms and conditions or the wording on the booking information to avoid confusion for future guests. We just thought it would have been nice to be notified beforehand. We would not have booked that particular package if we had known that sauna access was subject to availability.

We’ve stayed here three times now, and there’s a reason we keep coming back. The location is perfect — everything you want to see is either a short walk or a quick Metro ride away. The terrace breakfast is a real highlight and a lovely way to start the day in Paris. Like every hotel in Paris, the rooms are on the small side, but it honestly doesn’t matter. You’re not here to sit in your room, and what you get for the price is outstanding. For travelers, this is the best combination of location and value we’ve found in the city. We’ll be back for a fourth stay, and a fifth after that.
