"Great place to stay near Blois town centre, in what was the location of original Poulain chocolate factory. Modern ish building, not superbly maintained though. Lift was out of order most of the time we were there, which was a major inconvenience for an elderly member of our group, and luggage transport. The newly refurbished bedrooms are great, not much storage space around the bed but good enough. "

"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

Au rez-de-chaussée cuisine, salle à manger et salon, 3 grandes chambres avec des lits de 160, 1 wc et 1 salle de bain avec baignoire. A l'étage 1 salle d'eau avec 1 douche, 1 wc et 2 petits lits. Nous avons juste pris les petits-déjeuners dans la maison. L'extérieur est grand. Merci pour cet agréable séjour."

"Loved that we could walk from the property into the city. The parking is along the street in front of the gîte, but we had no problem parking in front. We rented bikes for 3 days to bike the well marked trails, and were able to store the bikes on the property. The gîte was clean and had everything we needed.
