"Beautiful country house with lovely architectural features inside and out surrounded by meadows and woods. Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. The house was immaculately clean, perfectly equipped to accommodate a large group of adults, every bedroom with its own facilities- we had a marvelous time a d are thankful to ou gracious hosts."

"La maison est très bien située pour les visites de plusieurs châteaux (Chambord, Cheverny et Blois par exemple). "I loved staying here. There were only minor issues but all able to be resolved. The location was wonderful for us and we enjoyed our stay. Our daughter stared to crawl at this location and it was a safe place for her to explore. The carpet was a tad odd and left things on her clothes but overall I felt it was clean and a safe place for our family :) oh and a little laugh, our daughter fell in love with their throw blanket haha"

"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. "the location is stunning the host is very nice and responsive but unfortunately the property has not been cleaned prior to our arival it was dusty, sticky and the toiled smelled of wee. We where very disappointed. We do travel a lot as a family and I have seen a number of properties. This one needs a deep clean . It has been advertised for a family but the indoor dining table is way to small like the water cooker for a family of 5 (and my kids are still small). I would have loved to rate it...

"The property met our needs, but there were some things that could have been better. On the upside, because we had young children along, the pool was a bonus. The donkeys, goats, chickens, and roosters were enchanting. On the downside, if someone wants to be close to the surrounding cities (Tours/Amboise) with pubs and restaurants, this is not the place.
