"Location is great, not far from airport, nor from downtown and other major areas in Charlotte. Definitely recommend renting a vehicle, at least for us it was best. Lots of food options nearby, coffee shops etc. Hotel staff was very nice, room and hotel itself was very clean. We felt very comfortable and well attended. Overall nice experience! "

"My wife and I drove from Virginia Beach VA to Charlotte NC to visit our daughter in college and help her move out of her dorm. We paid through the app 10 days prior to the stay at the hotel. We were supposed to check in was Saturday and check out Monday. We arrived at the hotel a little later in the evening and were told they were full and we did not have a room. The young man that night told me there was a problem with the room the night before and the race that was in town caused to hotel to be at 100% occupancy. We were turned away without a room and were told we needed to call Monday for a refund. We were given zero help to find an alternative and drove to 9 different hotels before finding one with a room for my wife and I. When I called and spoke to the manager Monday he told me the hotel policy is to rent the room if someone doesn’t call to let the hotel know it will be a late check-in regardless of being paid or not. He informed me they would send I message the refund would be done but I needed to call to get the refund completed. Absolutely the worst hotel experience ever!"

"The staff was friendly, however, the door lock looked and felt like it was ready to just fall apart. The door did not fit the door frame - there was a large 3/4" gap that ran from bottom of door up to around 3' high allowing outsiders to see right into the room. The bathtub would not drain effectively. The water had risen 3" above my ankles after a short shower. There was a large 6" diameter sticky spot on the floor - I decided to keep my shoes on to walk around in the room, as the floor was no cleaner than a dirty city sidewalk. I began to eat an orange offered from the front desk at check-in and it seemed to be quite old - the orange was breaking down inside and did not seem fresh. The room was advertised as a non-smoking room, but the room smelled strongly like an ashtray. I arrived at close to 11:30PM, so there was not much hope of finding a new room or even another hotel. When I met my work associates the next morning, one of them asked me if I had been smoking, and I don't smoke. The smell had permeated my clothing even in my luggage - I did not unpack to try to limit this contamination. The sheets seemed clean, but the "blanket" was nothing more than a printed sheet, and though it was not noticeably dirty, it did not seem to have been recently cleaned. The AC worked fine, so I was able to set the temperature higher so I was not cold "under the blanket". It was a fairly awful hotel. I will not be returning to this one - too much deferred maintenance. "

"The staff was very polite and helpful. Easy access to the building and the rooms. Everything was very clean and maintained. The only drawback for me was the poor lighting in the rooms. The older I get, it seems the more light that I need."

"This might actually be one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at aside from a couple of five stars. But the employees were awesome! The bed was fantastic! They served a light dinner / snacks! If I am ever in an area with another Drury Inn, if they are all like this I will be a customer for life!"

"We paid £500 for two days of waterpark and a room for a night, fo myself and my son. We got there no room availible to check in, so had to leave all oir belongings in the open. We stayed for 4 hrs as my son could see past the cleanliness, then left. I mentioned it to staff, but they just appeared happy to take our money. I basically paid £500 to spend 4hrs in a dirty, over crowded waterpark. Terrible experiance, and aligns with most peoplea views who have attended the park. This is on Expedia also, you should not be dealing with buisness this bad. "
