Downtown Greensboro

Downtown Greensboro blends business energy with rich cultural heritage. Historic buildings like the 1920s Carolina Theatre stand beside modern office towers along tree-lined Elm Street. The International Civil Rights Museum marks the site of influential Woolworth's lunch counter sit-ins that changed America. After work hours, the area transforms into a lively entertainment district. Craft breweries, cocktail lounges, and music venues fill with visitors and locals. Cultural enthusiasts can enjoy performances at the Steven Tanger Center or catch a baseball game at First National Bank Field.

Westerwood

Westerwood offers a peaceful retreat lined with charming craftsman bungalows and colonial revival homes from the early 1900s. This residential haven features tree-canopied streets and well-maintained historic architecture that history buffs will appreciate. The neighborhood borders the Greensboro Arboretum, creating pleasant walking routes through quiet surroundings. Though lacking shops or restaurants within its boundaries, Westerwood's appeal lies in its architectural heritage and proximity to attractions. The Greensboro Arboretum's 17 specialized gardens sit just steps away. Downtown amenities like the Steven Tanger Center and First National Bank Field are easily accessible by car.

Fisher Park

Fisher Park charms visitors with tree-lined streets and historic early 1900s architecture. This peaceful neighborhood centers around a lush green space perfect for picnics and leisurely walks. Colonial Revival and Craftsman homes showcase Greensboro's rich heritage through detailed woodwork and wraparound porches. Architecture enthusiasts will treasure the well-preserved historic district just minutes from downtown. The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts and First National Bank Field lie within easy reach. Minimal tourist infrastructure creates an authentic residential experience where you can enjoy genuine local life.

Lindley Park

Lindley Park combines suburban charm with natural beauty in this welcoming Greensboro neighborhood. Mature trees create green tunnels over quiet residential streets lined with mid-century bungalows. The crown jewel is its namesake park and adjacent arboretum, where walking paths wind through seasonal blooms. University students add youthful energy to the area, which sits near the University of North Carolina at Greensboro campus. Visitors can enjoy botanical displays by day and explore nearby college-town amenities after dark. The neighborhood offers authentic local living with easy access to campus cultural events.

Sedgefield

Restaurants, golf courses, and spas are just a few things travelers enjoy about Sedgefield. Check out Grandover Resort East Course or Grandover Resort West Course while you're exploring the area.

10/10 Excellent
"Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and give it 5 stars! Check-in was smooth, and the evening front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. They were also able to connect my membership to my reservation with no problem. I chose this hotel partly because of the on-site restaurant and bar. I expected the bar area to have a little more energy, but it was very quiet and somewhat dry and dreary. The TVs also weren't working while we were sitting at the tables for breakfast, which took away from the atmosphere a bit. The room was very clean and organized, especially the bathroom. I loved the shower—great water pressure and very clean! The room layout was a little awkward because the desk and chair were so close to the bed that it was hard to walk around when the chair was pulled out. I enjoyed the pool and getting my laps in, and I REALLY appreciated the extended checkout. It allowed me to relax without feeling rushed. The morning front desk service could have been a little warmer—not rude, just not as pleasant and welcoming as the evening staff. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay with just a few small things that could improve the experience. I would stay again!"
