「Rustic lodge, clean, friendly staff, good food. Just what one goes to upper Michigan to experience.」

「It was wonderful. We were there for a family function not far away, so we were not there for the entire day. Also, keep in mind when you look at my review, I knew before-hand that there was no central air and that we shared (2) bathrooms with others on our floor (3rd floor). Our stay was during August that had 90+ degree days. We had a window air conditioner and a fan in our room that was more than adequate to cool our room in a short amount of time. 「This is an outstanding property! Check-in was a breeze and we had a welcome letter telling us of the history of the lodge. The lodge has everything you would expect of a log cabin in the woods - huge comfortable furniture, beautiful fireplaces, very comfortable beds --- PLUS this is sprawling. There was more than enough for our family group. On several nights, with windows open (yes they are screened) several in our group heard owls hooting and attests to the remoteness of the place. 「Perfect! The space was great, two separate suites which was fabulous. Clean. Loved having Lake Michigan right out our door. Watched sunset from the property. Beautiful! The location worked great for us, easy to get to all of our destinations (HIKING). We met Stanley and Bo, chatted a bit. Great people. Cooking supplies limited, however had most of what we needed.
