"Don’t count on transport arrangements being completed correctly. Got to airport and no shuttle transport had been set up even though I had an email confirming arrangements had been made. We had to get a taxi at the airport. Then they tried to charge us for the shuttle. Never even offered a verbal apology:( "

"Great hotel, staff very good and polite and have good communication. Disappointed that a complimentary late check out wasnt available after spending over £2k and staying at the hotel for 8 days. Room card was disabled exactly at 12pm, i had left somrthing in the room when i walked out and couldnt go back in to get it. Quite disappointing to an amazing hotel. Beautiful views across the hotel and great beach. Did not really enjoy the food at the restaurants so chose to order in remaining days. Went to Maritim which is round the corner for some horse riding and there are way better facilities available there. Overall, still great."

Breakfast was excellent with so many options available for all dietary requirements. "I had a wonderful vacation in the Resort, and my overall experience was excellent. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Mauritius. I would like to give a special thank you to the housekeeping supervisor for his outstanding service. Late at night, around 12:00 a.m., when some food was accidentally spilled on the deck, he personally came to assist. He brought a mop and cleaned the area himself with great care and professionalism. This level of dedication, especially at such a late hour, truly reflects the high standards and genuine hospitality of the resort staff. Moments like this made my stay even more special. I truly appreciate the kindness and responsiveness of the team, and I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for excellent service and a memorable vacation in Mauritius."

"The villa, pool and pool area were just as described and very clean with air conditioning in all the bedrooms (a must in summer temperatures!). The villa was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for an extended stay. In terms of location, the area is generally quite peaceful although there is not much by way of restaurants/bars in the immediate area so transport is a necessity if you want to eat out. That said, we decided not to hire a car and instead used a local taxi driver who was very reasonable and extremely reliable for trips to shops and sightseeing.A small negative for us was that we found the mattresses on the beds to be rather hard and uncomfortable. While we appreciate mattress preferences vary, there was only a very thin mattress protector under the bottom sheet so the owners might want to think about investing in some decent mattress toppers to give guests a better nights sleep.Mary, the housekeeper, was great, she was very responsive and quickly dealt with any issues as they arose. Over the one month period, the villa, gardens and pool were cleaned and maintained regularly. This villa is not ‘in the thick of things’ but we found it perfect for a relaxing break in the sun."
