"Easy check in. The breakfast was absolutely awesome. My king size bed was like a giant hug. My room was exceptionally clean, and well stocked with all the necessities. Water pressure was amazing in the shower, and the water was HOT!! If I ever make it down that way again, I'll definitely stay there again."

"The room was clean and comfy. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was normal continental, but with very fresh hot coffee and a clean dining area. Our room was quiet. Parking felt very safe in a well lit area. Very convenient to the Clemson campus and dining options. We enjoyed our stay. "

"The reason this hotel stands out is because it was just totally refurbished. You can still smell the new paint in my room. Apparently the Spark brand buys older hotels and then modernizes them up and redoes them. "

"We had a nice, relaxing Christmas vacation with the kids and grandkids. The view of the lake was amazing, and the covered back deck was a plus! The newly renovated downstairs basement was nice also with plenty of rooms and beds. The basement does not have central heat/ air, so it’s a good thing that the weather wasn’t too cold. The refrigerator upstairs had a water leak from the bottom, but we just placed a towel there several times during our stay. Maybe the owners should think about buying an air fryer as well. Overall though my family enjoyed it. "
