「Really poor service from the reception team. We were charged for the room again at check out because she didn’t speak to us before charging to a card. It wasn’t even the card used to book but one used to pay for breakfast. We were then told that she couldn’t fix it and WE had to email guest relations. We did and the guest relations sent an email back saying accounts will refund us IF the charge was taken twice in 3-7 days. Accidents happen but this has been dealt with incredibly poorly and...

「Satisfied with my stay. Highly recommended.」

「It is excellent hotel.」

「Beautiful setting and conveniently located to Tring and especially the train station which is a couple of minutes drive from the hotel. The rooms were clean and well appointed. After hours eats/snacks are not available. The only reason I left 3 stars for "well maintained" is that much of the wood trim on the exterior of the hotel is in desperate need for paint before the intricate wood trims start to rot. The grounds are magnificent. We would stay there again.」

「Good property and great breakfast for a stay close to Heathrow. But the hotel does need to look at the air con in the room. 27 degrees all night and no way to control it within the room. When I told the duty receptionist about this he just shrugged that I should have called reception and maintenance at 1:00 in the morning!!!! Not good enough. However all restaurant and bar staff were highly attentive and courteous.」
