"Amazing views from the place and a very cosy little apartment for two maybe a little bit less clutter and wires around the house would’ve been nicer. There is no need for so many gadgets like sky box BT players CD players music hi-fi."

"It was a great location. We did find the car park a little bit tight and tricky to get into (as the road was fairly busy when we arrived). The cottage was great and had all we were after and the downstairs bathroom was great for my elderly Mum. The two single beds mattresses were a bit past their best so the only thing I’d suggest to improve the property would be an update of those. Otherwise it was a great place to stay right on the river."

"As in previous reviews, no internet connection. Strangely able to get netflix on both bedroom tv’s but not on the main one. Lovely living space & bed very comfortable. Good location on site and all areas of park dog friendly. Would return. Could possibly get better quality frying pans. Both warped when using. "

"Beautiful lodge, it had a home from home feel. It was cosy and comfortable with great space. We loved the hot tub. I would stay again and definitely recommend. The location was great, we drove but also great bus links. "

"A cosy, comfortable apartment in a quiet location. Only a short walk into the centre of Ambleside. The apartment was very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was well equipped. "

"Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. "
