  • Excelente 1 bedroom holiday apartment in a superb historical oldtown location, right in the downtown area of Lagos and the beaches.

    This 1 bedroom apartment comprises equipped kitchen, living room with sofa bed (for 1 extra guest), bedroom, and bathroom with bathtub/shower.

    The apartment is well kept and is well done, and there are many amenities, coffee shops, restaurants and services nearby. The main avenure in the downtown area is just 100 meters away and the Batata beach is at hand.

    Perfect area to explore the city and with lots to do.

    The apartment has WIFI and sleeps a maximum of 3 (2 in the bedroom which has a double-sized bed, and 1 on the sofa-bed in the living room).

    Set on the second floor of the building.

A sweet place with a view.

We really liked the property- it was well equipped- we had to request a heater which was then provided; a warmer quilt would have been nice. We liked the space which is good for 2 people. The view of the beach from the dining area was enjoyed. We would gladly stay there again.

Check in was a little confusing as I did not know the host has zero access to VRBO communications. All my messages and payment via VRBO to host were all not received so I had to pay at check in. Email from host was from a non-reply address so all communications had to be via telephone . The unit does not have air conditioning so it was inconvenient for hot summer weather. I carried fan units around the apartment. There was no hot water after two days . I called host and they fixed it right away. The wifi password left on counter under TV was incorrect so I had to phone for it . The apartment location is very ideal, walking distance to main sights . The unit was spacious for EU standard , and there’s no elevator so carried luggage up two sets of stairs, not abnormal for EU. Overall, it was ok for a short stay and cannot complain about Lagos. For same price, I stayed at a much nicer place in Portimao.
