「I had the worst hotel experience of my life here! The shower had a cheap plastic shower head that was broken when my daughter first tried to take a shower. The shower head disconnected from its base and couldn’t be used. We reported the issue and a staff member worked on it and said it was fixed. Then my son tried to take a shower and the shower head disconnected from its base even more. It had been 2 days without a functioning shower at this point. 「La Terraza was an absolute delight. The staff and owners couldn’t have been more friendly, more helpful, more accommodating. We stayed in the El Rio apartment. A bit more expensive than a regular room but, OMG, so worth it!! Its large, has a beautiful view from the terrace, full kitchen, beautifully decorated. 「This is a wonderful tico property that truly feels authentic Costa Rican. In the thick rain forest I felt very close to the earth. The breakfast is special and the owner is fabulous. I will return!」

「Location to parque vivas was great.」

「Outstanding experience. We arrived in San Jose and wanted to catch our breath before our 3 hour drive the next day. Chayote Lodge was exceptional. Great view, very nice restaurant on property, comfortable beds and great sheets. Chayote, the canine greeter, is delightful. Lovely!」

「Nice place, convenient Rooms with fridge, coffemaker, microwave, kitchenet and all the things necessary for cooking. Recomendation: if you have a car it can be easier 'cause you have several supermarkets and restaurants near there ( 2 km or less) but if; not try to have some things to cook before due to by walking/uber/bus could be complicated. The rest of the things are OK, nice pool some weekend」

「Very nice place it only need to be updated it in their decor」

「Wow! What a wonderful place to stay- a magical end to our two weeks in Costa Rica. Perfect for the whole family. We loved the chilled, welcoming, and friendly vibe. The children had so much fun playing with Margarita's dogs, and we had a lovely stay. Thank you so much, Margarita.」
