The property was beautiful the staff, thehotel guest, and just everyone on the property was so nice. It was so relaxing and a nice place to reset. Carlos was amazing with activities and speaking positivity to you. The food was very delicious and fulfilling. The Coffee and Tea Bar was exceptional. I will be returning.

Absolutely amazing hotel , very clean and beautiful. It’s so peaceful there . Food was the best I’ve had in Costa Rica - and we’ve tried a lot , but nothing beats the taste and quality of their meals . Stuff goes above and beyond to assist everyone with all needs and requests. I would love to be back there one day and highly recommend it to anyone.

The Retreat Costa Rica is a dream—it’s everything I expected and so much more. This beautiful retreat is secluded, peaceful, and truly feels like a place to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself. The food is amazing, the people are wonderful, and there are so many opportunities to nourish both body and soul. They offer a variety of yoga classes, sound healing, hikes, and advanced treatments and therapies. Because this is a very small resort, it has a wonderfully intimate, family like atmosphere. The staff is absolutely incredible, warm, caring, and genuinely attentive. Shout out to Edmond & Lisbeth for the warm reception and deep conversations, to Carlos that made sure everyone is training their most important muscle: your smile 😊 and to all the wonderful staff members serving the nourishing meals to name a few: Andres, Juan, Karina, Pablo!! I’m leaving feeling grateful, renewed, and already wishing I could come back soon. ❤️🌴

The facilities are outstanding. The view is stunning. Beautiful place. We had a great time. This said, I think the wine selection could be improved (wines are ridiculously expensive for the quality). The food at the main restaurant was not that great, but our dinner at mystique was excellent.

Everyone deserves to experience this kind of customer service and restoration that The Retreat Costa Rica has to offer. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left it was a five star experience. The room and views were breathtaking, the spa treatments are like no other and the Farm to table dishes were incredible! Carlos, Juan, Ed, Dini and Leah (yoga instructor) plus so many more made my time in Costa Rica one I’ll remember forever. Excited to make this retreat an annual tradition for my wellbeing. I’ll come once a year and encourage all my friends to do the same. This place was truly heaven on earth.

Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing

The property is truly wonderful—a perfect place to find peace of mind, reset, detach, and return as a better person. I only wish I had more time to stay, perhaps even a month or two, because it’s definitely a place I plan to revisit. The commute through the resort involves quite a few hills, which at times felt like a workout, but I like to think of it as built-in cardio—almost like hiking. The food was absolutely outstanding—five stars, maybe even ten. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a rejuvenating and memorable experience.

Hotel luxueux et relaxant avec vue ocean

Depuis notre arrivée jusqu'à notre départ nous avons été traités comme des princes. Le personnel est super accueillant et souriant, et toujours prêts pour s'assurer que tout se passe au mieux. Nous avons apprécié la visite de l'hôtel et l'explication de son concept zen. Le restaurent de l'hôtel est délicieux avec des produits frais du jardin ou des environs. La vue est à couper le souffle sur la nature environnante et va même jusqu'à l'océan pacifique. Le spa est très relaxant. C'est un hotel assez jeune (moins d'un an) mérite le detour pour une coupure zen et reposante. Le wifi est disponible pour les mails et envoyer de super photos. Merci encore à Hans pour tout. 2 jours c'était très court mais nous reviendrons.
