The location is really good and very near to the adventures and conveniently located near the downtown. Most of the tours have a pick up in this area and hence we do not have to travel far for pick-ups. The hotel had a homely comfort and family friendly as well. Depending on the weather, you can view the Arenal volcano from the pool. The staff is very friendly and even helped with first-aid. However I feel they are short-staffed and it would help if someone helps with the reception for long hours. The breakfast was really good with multiple options.

Loved the clean and quiet rooms, the kitchen option! The laundry was so great and a necessity! Good breakfast, very nice staff! Nice pool and cute little places in the common areas. The only thing was that it was further away from the city, I was hoping it was closer. Walked about 25 minutes to the city but took an uber back because there are no sidewalks and it’s harder at night. It’s very safe though!

Expedia has asked me to review this hotel. I made a reservation at this hotel, but the hotel did not have a room. The hotel notified Expedia, but Expedia advertised the room anyway and charged me for it. This is the same day a car I had reserved with Expedia with Hertz was absent when I arrived to rent it. Expedia has not remedied either situation. The callous indifference of Expedia evident in their absent customer service is disappointing but no longer surprising to me. As I could not trust a booking service such as Expedia to find me a room at a very busy time of year, the staff at this hotel made phone calls on behalf of me and my fiancee and found us a nearby room so we were not both homeless and without even a car to sleep in. Expedia gets zero stars. This hotel gets five stars.

Ein wirklich sehr schönes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Es gibt eine „draußen“ Küche zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung und diverse Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten draußen. Sehr gemütlich. Der Pool ist auch sehr sauber und schön. Wenn man Glück hat sieht man den El Arenal. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend, man kann aus 4 Optionen auswählen und auch das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit, nett und engagiert.

Hotel Arte Natura is the kind of ‘hotel’ I love. It’s unique, quaint, quiet, and very walkable to local shops and restaurants. It’s about a mile west of the main downtown area with many restaurants only steps away, including one on site. The double room I booked was the perfect size for one person, but would have been a bit small for two platonic guests. It’s not because the room was small (which it is), but because of the size of the bed. You’d want to be sharing it with someone you plan to cuddle with 😉. The outdoor shared kitchen and living room were comfortable and clean, and a great way to keep my Imperial beer cold. The pool is small but inviting. Kristhal works in both reception and the restaurant and was extremely helpful in assisting me with booking tours, making suggestions on things to see and do, and helping me figure out logistics. Kendall, Luca and the rest of the staff kept things moving smoothly in the restaurant, including making sure I got my multiple refills of cafe con leche ☕️. The cleaning crew was friendly and kept the common areas tidy. I’m very happy I found this hotel. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Really friendly staff. Restaurant had great options for breakfast and dinner. Facilities were nice. Bed was a bit hard and not the most soundproof. But overall we had a great stay and I would stay here again!

The staff, in particular leyling and Kendal, we so friendly and attentive and helpful. Our room was plenty big for the two of us. Happy hour at the restaurant was a draw. And we dined there on two occasions - the food was very good. There is a kitchen area for the guests. The pool was small but very refreshing.

Their staff especially Crystal, Leilin, and Kendall were very friendly, accommodating, as well as the owners, who would go over and beyond to make your stay a comfortable and a happy one. Their breakfast is served individually on your table with different selections to choose from and lots of delicious fresh fruits since they also own the Vagabondo pizzeria and pasta next to the quaint and charming one story bungalow rooms. Everything we needed was there. They also let you use their washer and dryer for free, you just need to buy your own detergent.The pool is small but always clean and so nice to sit around or just relax by the nearby lounge chairs and tables to chat or just read a book. They also have a common kitchen (if you want to cook your own food)with everything you need. I was told it’s under new management since 4 years now. It’s quaint, cute, clean, and staff are very personable and attentive to your needs. I will highly recommend this Hotel Aure Natura if you are in La Fortuna!!! It’s close to Arenal rafting, La Fortuna Waterfalls, Choyin Rio Termal Hotsprihgs, Arenal Mundo Aventura Ziplining, and Mistico National Park

Great staff, unbeatable breakfasts

Super lush grounds and welcoming staff who smiled and accommodated everything. They have a communal laundry and kitchen for those who are on longer trips like us. And, the breakfasts were huge and tasty. But it was the staff that took top prize! Well done.

Bom custo benefício

O hotel é bem bonitinho e decorado, com jardim bem cuidado. Além disto, a facilidade de ter uma cozinha e uma lavanderia à disposição faz toda a diferença. O Kendal, funcionário da recepção e do café da manhã é muito simpático. Fez de tudo para nos agradar e acolher. O restaurante Italiano do hotel, Vagabondo, serve Pizzas e Massas deliciosas e muito bem feitas.

Cute spot! Really nice, community feeling. Room was clean and tidy and had everything I needed. Pillow was comfortable! I particularly enjoyed the lounge area which made reading and relaxing while watching the rain perfect. Staff was really friendly and the pizza/pasta next door phenomenal. Easy walk into main area of La Fortuna.
