Truly unique and nice

Clean, quiet, well-equipped and most important, very beautiful and artistic! One of my favorite place to stay in Kyoto, will definitely come back again. The staff are very gracious, nice and friendly too. Yet there is no elevator, but only one floor of stairs to carry.

This hostel was very clean. The shared bathroom is fairly spacious. The showers and toilet rooms are larger than most Japanese hotels. The sleeping pods get a little by hot at night, but nothing out of the ordinary. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The curry breakfast is amazing and is super reasonable at 600¥ and includes a beverage and yogurt. The whole vibe of this place was very soothing and relaxing. I will definitely stay here next time when I get the chance!

Really great hostel. Super friendly staff. Not a long walk from the station. Only downside is that the rooms don’t really get dark at night due to the windows that open to the floor below, which always has its lights on.

Highly recommended

This is hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The building is so beautiful and smells like sandalwood. The staff are friendly, everything is super clean, there is a beautiful outdoor area and a nice dining area. The beds are comfortable and the room is air conditioned. Do try the breakfast and coffee, they are delicious and vegetarian (very difficult to find in Japan!). I can’t recommend enough.

A nice and clean hostel, with friendly service in English. A bit of a walk from Kyoto Station, but they provide a walkthrough (in English) on how to get there with a lot of photos. So, the walk is long, but one does not feel lost, and on the way to the hostel, you can check out where you might want to drink your beer for the night :-)

新しいホステルでとてもきれいでおしゃれです。ファサードの雰囲気も素敵です。七条駅からすぐで、少し歩くといい感じのビールのお店やパン屋さんもありました。木でできているので音が響くかなと心配してましたが、意外と静かでぐっすり眠れました。 ただ、予約時に「ご到着日の３日前にチェックイン案内情報をメールにて、お送りいたしますので、 ご確認をお願い致します」と自動案内メールが届いたきり、当日まで何度も問い合わせましたがチェックイン案内メールが届かなかったのがずっと気がかりでモヤモヤしていました。施設面はばっちりなのでソフト面も期待しています。

깔끔하고 젊은 감각의 숙소예요.

숙소는 깔끔하고 편안하고 수건이랑 칫솔, 수면안대, 귀마개 등이 지원되고 키친도 분위기 너무 좋고 깔끔하고 좋았는데 화장실이 오픈되어있는데다 남여공용인데다 방음이 안되는 이 부분이 불편했어요. 근처는 다 주택가이고 편의점이 걸어서 5분 정도 거리에 훼미리마트만 있어서 아쉬웠고 교토역에선 도보로 15분? 정도 걸렸어요.

This location is closed to 七条 station and I always walk to Kyoto station or other famous points like 清水寺 or 祇園 in Sakura season. The main problem of this living place is the sleeping time, every one would wake up or sleep in different time because of the different life style, so it would have a little annoying when someone making noise anytime.

Property looks nice, but staff or owner seems extremely inexperienced. Had a very bad experience, first the ran out of towels one night, staff was no where to be found to ask for more towels. Then the next day, when new towels were out, I opened it up and there were hair stuck in it, quite a few strands. It was extremely discomforting.. not sure how it happened.

완전 추천!

정말 좋은 숙소였어요! 우선 스탭 세 분 봤는데 모두 친절하셨고, 그 중 여자 스탭 분은 저보다 더 가녀리신것 같던디 캐리어도 들어주시고 ㅜㅜ.. 교통 편 물어봤는데 다 검색해서 요금이랑 버스 노선도 다 알려주셨어요. 덕분에 고생을 줄일 수 있었습니다. 1층에 샤워시설 네개, 화장실 너댓개, 그냥 세면대도 다섯갠가 있고 각 세면대 밑에 드라이기가 구비되어있고 거울도 여러개 있어서 굉장히 편했어요. 수건 및 일회용품을 하나씩 쓸 수 있다는 것도 참 좋았습니다. 화장실 세면대 샤워시설 모두 깔끔했고, 온수도 아주 잘 나왔어요. 2층엔 방 두개가 있습니다. 각각 방이 도미토리인 것 같았어요. 제가 묵은 방은 A방이었는데, 운이 좋게도 배려넘치는 투숙객들 만나서 너무 조용하고 불편함 없이 지냈습니다. 캐리어 보관할때 쓰라고 자물쇠랑 와이어 하나씩 빌려주는 것도 정말 센스 넘쳤어요 ㅎㅎ 복도가 약간 좁아서 혼자 캐리어 펼칠 땐 괜찮아도, 바로 옆 사람이랑 같이 캐리어 정리하기는 약간 어려워요. 그치만 방 안 쪽에 넓은 공간이 있으니 그쪽에서 해도 됩니다. 침대 폭신하고 침구 바스락거리는 하얀 침구에요! 머리맡에 콘센트 두갠가 있었고, 전등도 있어서 밤에도 편했습니다. 저는 2월 말에 묵어서 추울까봐 걱정했는데 난방 정말 빵빵했고, 호스텔 자체의 분위기도 아주 좋았습니다. 1층 오른쪽은 리빙룸으로, 알바? 주인? 분과 함께 얘기할 수도 있고, 혼자 일정 정리하기도 좋아요. 잔잔한 재즈 음악 틀어주셔서 혼자 맥주랑 간식 먹으면서 제 할일하기 너무 좋더라고요 ㅎㅎ 바에서 얘기 나누는 분들도 계셨고, 혼자 노트북을 하거나 글을 쓰는 사람들도 있었어요. 교통이 딱 하나 아쉬운 점인데요, 교토 역에서 도보로 15-20분 정도 걸리는 것 같았어요. 저는 걸어다녔지만 여행의 피로가 많이 쌓이셨거나 걷는 것을 싫어하시는 분들은 좀 힘들 수 있을 것 같아요 :) 시치조(?) 지하철 역이나 버스 정류장이 가장 가까운데, 걸어서 5분 정도면 호스텔 도착합니다. 어느 관광지와도 걸어서다닐만큼 가깝지는 않아요. 후기가 없다시피해서 약간 망설였는데, 저한테는 최고의 숙소였습니다!
