"First time in Kyoto and we had the best time in this traditional feeling Japanese ryoken. Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Their restaurant was traditional, inexpensive and very yummy. No complaints at all, would go back!!! Immaculate gardens around the property, good coffee shop on the parking lots, convenience store close by, close to a major bus route. Absolutely breathtaking neighborhood."

"The hotel is lovely and staff very friendly. It is in a quiet area with a few places to eat. There is a restaurant which we didn't try. There is a free shuttle bus to and from a subway station which was really useful as the hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the nearest subway stop. "

"This hotel never disappoints. This is out second time staying here and every time we have a pleasant experience. The rooms are nice. The bus and subway are mins away. Many spots such as dt Kyoto, nishiki market, and the shopping arcades, are walkable. The lounge area is beautifully decorated and peaceful. The roof top patio gives a nice view of Kyoto."

The location made it super easy to get around—close to transport and plenty of great food spots nearby. The staff were lovely and really helpful with recommendations, which made exploring Kyoto even better. It felt like a mix of modern comfort with a bit of that local charm.
