Islander on the Beach 214 - New Listing

Enjoy a beautiful garden with peek ocean view in this second floor Studio condo at the much loved Islander on the Beach. Islander On The Beach 214 is beautifully decorated with quality, island-style furnishings: a king bed with a full size sofa sleeper accommodates up to 4 guests. There is a TV and AC ! No resort fee, so you are saving $20 per night!

Second floor studio unit with king bed and full-sized sleeper sofa, completely furnished. Partial ocean view and fully stocked kitchenette with micro fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and tea kettle (no cook-top).

The bathroom has a shower and bath tub. The kitchenette is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, with dish and utensils.

Islander on the Beach is perfectly located for visitors wanting to explore both north shore and south, each an easy drive from this east side location. Dine out at one of several restaurants in easy walking distance. Or choose to eat in, grilling on one of the oceanfront BBQs or preparing a light meal in your kitchenette (microwave, frig, no stove). Walk on the soft sand beach just steps from your condo, enjoy a swim in the oceanfront pool, soak in the jet spa, and make new friends over drinks and pupus at Islander’s popular poolside Tiki Bar. It’s no wonder vacationing guests keep returning to this private garden paradise!

Islander on the Beach is located behind the Coconut Marketplace, where there are shops and eateries for you to enjoy! Across the street at the Coconut Market is a new Country Store (painted red like a barn). Inside is an upscale ABC store, a really nice deli/bakery. Movies are shown on the lawn a couple of times a week there and a really nice jewelry store just opened.There are several grocery stores within a 5 minute drive from the studio.

Islander On The Beach is centrally located in Kapaa on a beautifully landscaped 6 acre property, with great amenities including oceanfront pool, spa and Tiki bar. And, just few minutes walk away from great restaurants and shopping! Note: This condo is not part of the Aston Hotel, meaning there is no resort fee associated. Daily housekeeping is NOT provided, and guests are not able to use the on-site laundry facilities. You can purchase a mid-stay clean from our cleaners for a sheet change and towel exhange based on the services requested or you can use the laundromat in Kapaa only about a quarter of a mile away!

Islander on the Beach is just a couple miles from the trailhead of the Sleeping Giant, a popular hiking trail.

Cleanliness and Safety: In keeping with our high cleaning standards, our units are thoroughly cleaned for every guest arrival. Each property has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using EPA approved disinfectants. We pay special attention to high touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and remote controls. Our housekeepers are thoroughly trained on the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC.

I had a great time at Islander on the Beach 214. It's a great room with a beautiful balcony. Very convenient location next to restaurants and the coconut marketplace. The room was very clean with cool AC and the kitchenette was perfect for coffee and small meals.

Great condo, great location

The condo was nice, and Islander on the Beach was a very nice complex. The location was great, we could visit the north and south sides of the island from this centrally located condo.

It’s more than I thought it was going to be!

We absolutely loved our stay! The beach was so close and the barbecue and the pool was amazing to have. The room was great and had lots of things like chairs beach towels buggie boards etc.

Small but comfy

We stayed here for 4 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. The place is small, not much room for luggage or more than 2 people but the bed was very comfortable. Very close to the beach, free parking and check in was smooth and easy.

Great place to stay.

There was quite a bit of hair on the bathroom floor and the shower walls still had cleaning product smeard on them that never got washed off. Other than that, the place was great! Awesome location to food, things to do, the beach and a pool. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely rental

The unit was as expected and very pleasant. A couple minutes walk to the beach made it easy to get a sunrise over the ocean in. Appreciated the tommy bahama chairs and other beach equipment available, and how well stocked the kitchen was. Would recommend!

nice stay

Overall the unit was good. The bathroom was a good size and for 2 people it was spacious, any more than 2 it would definitely feel tight. I wish the bed had 2 nightstands as there was no where for me to put my book, glasses down and no where for me to charge my phone. The bed was comfy and I slept great each night. The location is centrally located but wish the beach was more swimmable,maybe it was just this time of year. Also wish we had access to a washer and dryer as we went swimming everyday and our towels never really dried out and they were sandy from the beaches. items such as beach chairs and coolers need an upgrade as the cooler handle was rusted closed and we had to carry it, the chairs neither of the zippers worked and they were a bit dirty and rusty. There were also no umbrellas and we ended up having to rent them for 60. If you are looking for a nice place centrally located with minimal services and activities included this place is a perfect place to stay. Everything was clean

We met lots of nice people, and the mai tais were delicious!Location can't be beat--loved coconut marketplace, Bobby V's and all the shops. Cons:AC unit was very old and wouldn't turn off, so it got pretty cold at night. Bed wasn't very comfortable, but we prefer a firm mattress. Didn't get our midweek cleaning, but the company reimbursed us for it promptly.

Great location

Great central location. It's close to the airport and half way to Princeville or Waimea. Islander on the Beach is a nice clean resort right on the beach. There are restaurants, shopping and a grocery store across the street. The room is an end unit which was nice because it had an extra window that brought in a lot on sunlight. The room is small but has everything you need including beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, boogie boards, etc. It's perfect for a couple and maybe a small child. My only complaints are the room was dimly lit at night time and the bathtub didn't drain properly. I texted Kristen with the issues and she was very responsive. She was able to get a plumber to come out on a Sunday. We had a great stay in Kauai.

Compact Kapaa Escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time in Kauai and spent 7 days. Smallish second floor unit so no noise from above - great. Got used to rooster crows after the second night. Location fantastic - close to beach, river kayaking, Smith's Family Luau, chocolate farm, hiking trails and great restaurants (Sam's and Lava Lava. Unit well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and even water shoes. Kitchen very small, but had sufficient cutlery and dishware, coffee machine, small microwave, a toaster and a mini-fridge. No access to Islander washer/driers so had to wash in tub. Price was right so would definitely visit again.
