"If I have to call out the issues first, I’d say that the room had a lot of dust in the corners. I only know this because I have a black fabric suitcase and it picked it up. Also the sink stopper in the toilet room seemed a bit corroded or stained by a white substance like mineral build up? Now those are very small issues. Nothing to make me think it’s not a good hotel. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and efficient. The room was spacious and overlooked a busy avenue below. We really enjoyed the area and were glad we had 2 wonderful nights there. The hotel rooms are really pretty depending on the type that you get."

"The room is standard tatami with a double bed (mattress, no platform or bed frame). It's about 100 sq ft with a table and bench, stool and desk area. The Onsen is quite nice, clean, and not too crowded. It could be the shoulder season. Breakfast in the hotel is a must. Huge buffet spread with a lot of local small dishes, make your own donburi bowls, and fresh made tempura. There's so many things to try. I try to have breakfast around 7 to avoid the crowd. Late night they offer light ramen complimentary. They also have free washers and dryer is 100¥. Very reasonable. The location is close to Omicho market and about 20mins walk to the Kanazawa Station. Really quiet inside the room. I didn't hear anything at night and was able to enjoy restful sleep."
