"We didn’t have breakfast or dinner but had lunch at alpine hall both days. Very good. Beautiful views of the mountain but sadly the gondola wasn’t running when we went. Expedia also told me I’d owe $160 at property after booking and paying $1,026, but when I got there, they said they upgraded me to a studio and I owed $620. I didn’t say anything just thought it was weird. "

"This is my favorite place in the world to stay! I have stayed on many occasions! In talking with staff this past stay they all mentioned how it is like family there! Clean, any every thing you need! If there is not what you need they will get it for you!"

"Room was exactly as advertised, excellent for the price. Minimalist but clean and “useful”-kitchenette stocked with kitchenware and a keureg. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Not a place to lounge and relax so much as to come up for a weekend to hike or ski. Or pick up a student from UVM to drive them home. The parking lot is ugly, right off the road, but super convenient to stores and the highway."

"Our 2nd visit and, although the weather wasn’t great, the Green Mountain Inn was wonderful. Accommodations were lovely. The Classic Room was well equipped and king size bed was comfy cozy. We only wish there were more dinner dining options in the area. It seemed most closed early. Otherwise, the dining options at the Inn were great and food was delicious!!"

"The rooms are well designed and the beddings comfortable. Parking outside the room which has a wonderful view of the foliage outside. Staff was helpful and friendly. Loved their in room coffee. Really enjoyed it! Also liked the food at Picasso nearby. Highly recommend this gem to anybody. Great hotel chain!"

"What an amazing property. Charming, historic and has superb and hospitable service. Lisa and Pat, the innkeepers, have done a fantastic job of providing hominess, comfort and a variety of amenities for their guests. Lisa is sheer joy. She is so friendly and welcoming. The tavern and restaurant below was great. Equally great service and delicious foods. This property is perfect for a getaway. You can tell when someone just does the job as opposed to enjoying what they do. Lisa and Pat truly live hospitality."
