"Not as touristy as the neighbouring islands, but well worthwhile for 3 days, even longer if you just want peace and quiet and enjoy the local life. Picturesque harbour,marina with excellent bars and restaurants. There are local buses, but the island is small, so walking is no problem if you are fit, and able to dodge the cars,scooters and bicycles, even electric ones . Funny but the locals do not seem to be worried about the traffic at all! One minor problem was returning one evening and...

"Villa Aida è stata una piacevole sorpresa, struttura in posizione tranquilla comoda ai mezzi pubblici 5 minuti a piedi dal lungomare e dal centro di Forio. La colazione viene servita in una piacevole terrazza panoramica ombreggiata da splendidi pini domestici. Il bilocale dove abbiamo soggiornato di recente ristrutturazione pulito e ordinato . "We booked a room that had a beautiful terrace looking onto the garden but the room they gave us was in the back so it got no light and the terrace faced a wall. We complained and they said the photos online are just examples. Not good value for money and the photos are deceiving. "

"Nice little room at a great location 7-10 min walk from ferry dock. Clean room, looked newly renovated. A little kitchen and fridge if you want to cook something. But lots of great restaurants within 3-15 min from room. (FYI, Description said sea view, it has not)"
