"It was a great location. Room was decent size, clean comfortable beds. Nice beach front, grest size pool nice balcony room. Good breakfast. The spa was not much. They had a spa the massage was okay for the price but I would not recommend going to this hotel for a spa.

"My daughter and I had a wonderful 6 days at Continental Mare. Our room was upgraded (thank you very, very much!) and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, with great gluten-free options. The shuttle to town was very helpful and the short-cut walking path to town gave us a bit of exercise, but was easier than I expected.

"When I booked on Expedia the hotel had amenities such as a pool and hot springs. When we arrived it was clear this hotel never had these features. Is there anything that prevents the property from editing their hotel listing after booking? Overall a nice hotel with terrific apartment Terrace right overlooking the beach. The place was good for a one and done experience, but I would not go back because of the omissions listed when we booked. "

You should know for travel days that restaurants stop serving meals at 4pm and don't open again till 7:30. Wish the hotel had warned us as we didn't rush to get food and would have. Loved the island of Ischia!

"Lorenzo and Laura were helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. The restaurant offered amazing dining options with a beautiful view of the Aragonese Castle. The breakfast menu offered a wonderful variety of food and drink. Sara and her staff were welcoming and a pleasure to talk to every morning. "This hotel had a lovely lobby, and a good atmosphere at the pool area with live music entertainment on one of the nights we stayed. Only complaints are the uncomfortable bed and tiny shower. But for the price we paid, this hotel exceeded our expectations. "
