「The property was just as described. Within walking distance to the cute little shops and some restaurants. It’s quiet and the outside sitting area was perfect for relaxing in the mornings. The beds were a little soft, but that’s a personal preference so it was all good. Overall it was the perfect place for our stay!」

「Very spacious. Great decor. Had everything one could ask for and more. We brought a waffle iron and found they even had one. Step stool would have been nice as my wife is only 4'8". Also recommend bringing seat cushions as all chairs in kitchen and dining are metal and we are both in our 70's. Very well thought out. I don't think walking to downtown is reasonable. Weather was so hot we stayed in, relaxed and watched movies. Hot tub very handy but, again, too hot outside so we didn't use. We took...

「My mom and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The hosts are so hospitable and thoughtful with how they arranged the cottage to accommodate our stay. The energy was warm and inviting. The lake is beautiful and is the perfect size for paddle boarding. Would highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful and restorative getaway.」

「Our weekend trip to Shipshewana was perfect! Steph was an amazing host. The cottage was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. She responded immediately when we had a question. The location was perfect as it is close to everything. I definitely recommend this cottage and hope to be back to enjoy this beautiful home. 」

「Overall met expectations. AC is not centralized, but 3 separate window units that the fan ran continuously even when temperature not set as low. No on-site laundry. Fridge had freezer burn rolls left inside that had odor, small amount of leaf debris. Access to cleaning supplies kind. Binder of instructions for guest expectations significant with understanding of past abuses by guests regarding pets and body fluids. I have a disabled child who is sensitive to noise and am accustomed to...

「Very close to downtown restaurants and shopping. The trails out back were nice and relaxing to walk on. The property was quiet and relaxing. Perfect size for my wife and I and our 12 pound dog. The dog loved the trails and kept us busy on his walks.」

「Great stay at the cottage. Property was very clean and exactly as advertised. Kids had a blast swimming in the lake; we also brought a small sailboat which we were able to launch off the little beach area. Will definitely stay again!」

「The best feature of the property is the balcony that overlooks the small cove because it allowed us to watch all of the wildlife! We were thankful for the air conditioning because of how hot it was during our stay. The master bed was the only bed we used and it was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed to cook the few meals we chose to. Unfortunately, there is no dish washer so we had to hand wash everything we used. The cottage is just a short drive into North...

「This rental is old and needs a lot of work. Owner doesn’t live locally. We showed up to some dirty dishes, a broken sink but it got worse. With one small bathroom, the shower broke when simply pulling the silver the tab to start a shower. I had 3 adults a 12 yr old. It was hard to get a call back, Vrbo refunded me 120 credit which didn’t help at all. The WiFi went out twice , I lost two days of work staying here. The propane on the grill was out , found that out after prepping my family’s...
