「ホテルでなくB&Bみたいな感じです。チェックイン後は入り口ドアと部屋の2つの鍵を受け取ります。 バストイレは共同ですが、とてもキレイでした。部屋もキレイですが使い勝手はあまりよくありませんでした。 ドライヤーは必要ならフロントで貸し出すスタイルでした。 朝食は地下のバーみたいな所で摂るのですがシリアル、フルーツ、コーヒー等質素なものなので期待はできません。 」

「飛行機が遅れ予約日に到着できるかどうかわからなかったけど、こまめにメールでやり取りして安心でした。BlueLANEという部屋に滞在。キッチンが充実。部屋の外を電車が走っているのですが、旅の疲れのせいか気にならなかった。朝食はベーグル、パンなど数種類、ゆで卵、カットしたフルーツ、ヨーグルトなど。こぢんまりとしたシカゴのアパートという感じ。他ゲストの年齢層は高いので落ち着いた雰囲気。」

「Lorraine and Jan have a wonderful, homey, inn that feels welcoming and comfortable. The decorations and antiques provide a country charmed feeling. We stayed in the smaller singe room. 「I don't often leave reviews but this hotel is exceptional. The owner showed me to the room and explained all the facilities. The room itself was huge, beautifully clean and with the wonderful quirk of still resembling a school classroom. Some previous guests had even left messages on the blackboards. I made use of both the Jacuzzi and the separate shower, and enjoyed the cooked breakfast which was brought to my room in the morning.
