"Wonderful staff, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast buffet that features local specialities (meibutsu) such as Nikko yuba in the chawan mushi, miso soup, local greens, etc. Property and bathrooms are a bit dated but our room was clean and well-maintained. Had free bottled water in fridge, slippers and bathrobes. Convenient location. Thanks to the helpful staff!"

"The Facilities and the rooms are very nice. Dont let the star rating scare you off. The only reason they are below 5 stars is due to the location of the hotel. It is located at a very suburban area not much going on around the property (including restaurant) and you really need a car to get around the area. There is a local railway near by though. "

"We traveled from Narita Airport to the Nikko area and stayed there for one night. It was a great experience. The hotel has sophisticated facilities and service, including a great hot spring and an excellent breakfast. "
