「Although our room was small, the finishes were good and we had a very comfortable bed. Good quality bed linens, and a very attractive headboard and blind. The bathroom was newly fitted and certainly was well done. Even a shelf for toiletries - often missing! Decent sized towels too. Just a couple of things less then perfect - tv is too small and the window stay was broken. We did get a good rate though so no complaints! Staff are friendly and efficient- breakfast was very good. 「Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)」

「I was visiting for one night with my son, as pert of a visit to the nearby motor museum and couldn't have stayed in a nicer place. Menu was a bit different, service was excellent, room was perfect and the breakfast was just right. 」
